Not sure if anybody has commented on this yet, but ... this looks potentially more useful as an alternative for funding infrastructure than it does for funding charity.
My plan (open for criticism) is to use "expected final impact, conditional on impact 9/1". If the project is finished, completed impact = expected final impact. If it's partway done, I will use the done part to predict final impact. If it's not done at all, I will use the fact that the person is a flake and wasted six months to predict final impact (probably low, though there could be extenuating factors).
After 9/1, I will try to value every project, and distribute final oracular funding at the same ratio, ie if your project produced X% of the total value, you get $40K/X. I don't have a clear plan about whether this means buying certificates for all non-zero projects, I think it would depend on transaction costs and how big the differences between projects were. I would probably find it annoying to have to send money to more than ten projects.
I was told about this site by a friend, and when I found your writing, I was very impressed. I'll come back often now that I've saved it https://fngames.io
A standard iq test will usually have questions about reasoning with numbers, reasoning with logic, reasoning with words, and reasoning with space https://iqtestonline.io
The Rice Purity Test is an online survey originally created by students at Rice University to help incoming students adapt to college life. It serves as a self-assessment tool that asks respondents to check off a variety of experiences ranging from innocent to risky. The test's questions cover various aspects of life, including dating, social interactions, and rule-breaking behaviors. Website : https://ricepuritytesttool.com/
The Impact Market Mini-Grants program offers small grants to support community-driven projects focused on economic empowerment and social impact. With these grants, developers can enhance user experience and functionality, similar to how Bus Simulator Ultimate Mod APK allows for expanded gameplay options through mods and additional resources.
In this game, players arrange characters, events, and settings to meet the objectives of each level. The game encourages experimentation, allowing for various solutions to each puzzle. In https://storytellersgame.com players can explore different narrative combinations, creating distinct stories as they progress. The increasing complexity of the puzzles ensures an engaging experience, requiring critical thinking and imaginative problem-solving skills.
Pokerogue is an engaging fan-made game that takes the beloved Pokémon formula and infuses it with rogue-like elements and innovative mechanics. This unique fusion provides a fresh take on the Pokémon experience, allowing players to explore randomized dungeons and encounter wild Pokémon in entirely new ways. https://playpokerogue.com and https://wiki.playpokerogue.com
This model is truly innovative — love how it brings market mechanisms into charitable funding. Moving the predictive burden from grantmakers to investors could really change how impact is measured and rewarded.
For those exploring unique digital projects, I’ve been working on a platform in the modded gaming space. Feel free to take a look: https://busapksimulator.com --- Bus APK Simulator — always open to feedback or collaborations!
This way of funding projects is really cool, giving grants based on real results makes a lot of sense. It’s kind of like how Nulls Brawl APK grew by supporting features people actually want. https://nullsbrawl.io/
This is such a cool experiment—love seeing innovative funding models that align incentives for both impact and investment. Excited to see which projects get funded in the end! https://www.ailogogenerator.sh/
As a reader of Astral Codex Ten, I've found their mini-grant initiatives fascinating. Last year, I applied for a small project developing educational materials for underserved communities. Though I wasn't selected, the process itself was valuable—it forced me to clarify my goals and create a detailed implementation plan. The Impact Market approach seems like an effective way to fund diverse projects that might fall through traditional philanthropic cracks. If you're looking for something different after diving into these serious topics, check out Sprunki for some lighthearted entertainment.
Diving into Pokerogue feels like stepping into a wildly unpredictable adventure where classic Pokémon charm meets the thrill of rogue-like gameplay. The excitement of exploring randomized dungeons combined with innovative mechanics truly sets it apart from typical fan games. I once faced a similar challenge while navigating a complex mod that reimagined a familiar game world. Finding rare items and enemies kept me hooked just like Pokerogue does. Monkey Mart’s creativity shines in delivering fresh twists in beloved universes.
Diving into the vibrant chaos of Pokerogue offers players an exhilarating twist on classic gameplay. The blend of Pokémon nostalgia with rogue-like unpredictability creates a uniquely engaging experience. I can relate to the thrill of discovering hidden treasures in a game that redefined my expectations. Just like the fun I had playing Slope Game, finding unexpected challenges and rewards in that mod kept me coming back for more. Creativity knows no bounds in this genre.
This is a really interesting approach to funding! It's smart to shift the risk assessment to investors who have a direct stake in the outcome. It reminds me of how some indie game developers use early access models – they get funding based on a promising concept, and then the players essentially act as a market, determining the game's success. Seeing this applied to forecasting projects is fascinating. I wonder if the success of projects in this format could be visualized using something like, dare I say, a simplified crazy cattle 3d model showing resource allocation and market impact over time? Just a thought! Good luck to everyone with submitted projects! Looking forward to seeing how this prototype goes.
I think a link to the markets page is missing
Why do you think that?
https://tunnelrun.io/home
Looks like the proposals are flooding in. Exciting!
Missing link to the gallery of proposals: https://manifund.org/
PS: I'd love to hear from anyone who can imagine actually using the small-group futarchy app I've proposed building!
> if I believe are $40,000
Typo.
> (click to be linked to market home page)
I think a link is missing.
> The auctions say they’re closing March 8th, but we’re running a little behind schedule and might keep them open until March 12th instead.
You say "might" here, but then later say "March 12: Auctions for equity in existing projects close".
And two of the bullet points at the end are missing a period.
This is such a great idea. Who came up with it?
Some combination of a New Zealand economist named Ronnie Horesh, Paul Christiano, and Vitalik Buterin.
Not sure if anybody has commented on this yet, but ... this looks potentially more useful as an alternative for funding infrastructure than it does for funding charity.
Infrastructure is expensive and intrinsically political. This is still in the proof of concept stage.
Do investors have a good way of predicting how the judges will assign a final value to a project?

> Sixteen people have submitted projects!
Not important, but on that screenshot I count 17 projects by 14 distinct people?
Is there a place where we can offer to help approved projects with our time?
I just got here a little while ago, and it's great https://quordle-wordle.com
