There’s usually a lot of street parking in Cambridge on Sundays (most permit street parking areas are open on Sunday). If you don’t mind walking a mile, Christian Herter park has plenty of free parking with access to a nice path along the river that leads right to JFK park.
I would be in a much better place in my life if I went to one of these meetups 4 or 5 years ago. I don't know how to meet or start conversations with people, but it was very easy here. I look forward to going to meetups in the future.
I went, and it was generally great, but I had one complaint: some people started smoking! I was wearing an N95 so it wasn't too bad for me, but I don't think people appreciate breathing secondhand smoke.
Could we please add a "no smoking" rule to meetups?
For anyone trying to find the meetup, I'll have a sign with the SSC logo printed on it. See you on Sunday!

This location is about a block from Flour Bakery in Harvard square, which I highly recommend
We will have plenty of chips, drinks, and pizza! (including vegan/vegetarian pizza). There will be a coconut-opening demonstration, also.

Sunday I usually ride my bike along the river and I always go right by that park, so I plan to be there.
I'm hoping to be there: I'll be driving in from Western MA. Can anyone suggest the best place to park nearby-ish? I'm happy to walk a mile or so.

Sure, I didn't mention this before because it seemed obvious, but please don't smoke at meetups.
